RDA West & Central Scotland Region relies entirely on voluntary donations, sponsorship and grants to support 20 RDA Groups to deliver life changing activities to  around 800 disabled children and adults in our Region every year.

If you would like to make a donation, please contact our treasurer Rhona Scott on 0141-958-0205 or email

Make A Donation
A donation to West & Central Scotland Region enables us to provide the support, advice, training, compliance, publicity and marketing required to help keep our member groups running.  By making a donation you will help us to deliver training and support services vital to our member groups to operate.   All donations are gladly received.

Sponsorship Opportunities:
We offer a number of sponsorship opportunities for our Regional Qualifying Dressage and Countryside Challenge and Scottish Championships events.    If you would be interested in sponsoring any of these events please contact us to discuss.

Fund our Volunteer Training Programme
A donation to the Region's volunteer training programme will enable us to continue to support our groups to recruit and train more volunteers to offer more places to disabled children and adults in West & Central Scotland.  For example:
£500 could fund 5 training sessions open to all volunteers to gain necessary training to start as a volunteer in one of our 20 groups.

Fund our Disability Awareness Training Programme
We provide specific disability awareness sessions to ensure all of our RDA volunteers are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver the best possible experience to our participants. For example
£250 could enable us to provide 10 disability awareness workshops (eg epilepsy, autism, cerebral palsy)
£100 could fund training materials for Makaton (a type of sign language used by many people with disabilities)

Fund the opportunity to compete
The therapeutic benefits of competition for someone with a disability includes the experience of planning and preparing for a public performance which is good practice for many life situations. The opportunity to compete gives people with disabilities the chance to push against the boundaries to be the best they can be.   For example:
£250 could pay for the arena hire for a full day of competition
£100 could provide the costs of providing  fully qualified judges
£50 could sponsor a class
£10 could cover the cost of rosettes for a class

Every year the demand for RDA activities in the West & Central Scotland Region is consistently high.  To help us to continue to provide the vital training, coaching, compliance support and guidance our groups require to operate and grow, please help us by making a donation.

We have been carrying out our life-changing activities for almost 50 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of our coaches and volunteers.

We offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability – and you’re just as likely to find an RDA Group in an urban setting as a rural one across West & Central Scotland.

We rely entirely on voluntary help, donations and legacies to deliver our services.
